WineGPS serves as an efficient tool for wine enthusiasts seeking to manage their collections seamlessly after purchasing their favorite bottles. The integration with Cellar Tracker® allows for easy location tracking and organization, enhancing the overall wine management experience.

No-Frills Searching

The search functionality of WineGPS is intuitive, catering to various user preferences. Searches are case insensitive and support partial word inputs, enabling users to find wines by producer, vintage, varietal, vineyard, AVA, designation, or country. Users can also specify multiple locations such as Cellar, Under the Stairs, and Wine Storage Locker. Search results can be sorted by criteria including Availability, Vintage, and Purchase Date.

Shopping Cart

The shopping cart feature allows users to compile a selection of desired wines. This cart can be printed or exported into a spreadsheet for further convenience.

Charts

WineGPS provides visually engaging charts that categorize Purchases, Consumption, and Aging based on Purchase Date. A heat map feature offers a visual representation of wine inventory and optimum drinking periods.

Geo Location

The application includes a world map that pinpoints the origins of your wines. By tapping on these pins, users can explore detailed maps of the corresponding appellations and their offerings.

Ad Hoc Reports

Custom report generation is another key offering, allowing users to design and execute tailored cellar reports. These reports can be saved and edited for future reference and are accessible on mobile devices, with printing or cloud importing options available.

Bin Management

With the bin management feature, users can set bin capacities and monitor contents effectively. This functionality aids in identifying available space for additional bottles. Notably, capacity adjustments synchronize across all Apple devices via iCloud.

Tutorial and Settings

A built-in tutorial ensures users have access to guidance whenever needed. WineGPS supports language preferences in English, French, or Spanish and offers optional bottle identifiers or barcodes. An offline mode is also available for use without network coverage.

Requirements

To utilize WineGPS, a Cellar Tracker® account is required. It is important to note that while WineGPS allows for marking bottles as consumed in the Cellar Tracker® account, it does not facilitate adding new wines or relocating existing ones.
